On the 12th of November 2019, the New South Wales (NSW) bushfires relentlessly tore through the state. Embark tells the stories of the residents of one of the affected towns, Nana Glenn (found off the coast of Coffs Harbour), and the experiences that the residents lived through. Following the stories of a café owner who became a town leader, an artist who has raised a new future from his destroyed past and families that watched their worlds burn around them. Through the highs and lows of their stories, Embark follows with them through every step of their journey.
